Bank On Connecticut Orientation

Before opening an account all Bank On Connecticut members are required to attend a Basic Banking Orientation at a partner nonprofit agency. The orientation is hosted monthly and is offered in English and Spanish. The goal of the Basic Banking Orientation is to provide you with the tools to better communicate with banking employees and manage a bank account. The orientation will review the following:

The benefit of having a bank account
What joining a bank can do for you
How to get approved for a high risk account
How to use your bank account
Your consumer rights and how to resolve problems
How to avoid banking fees and make the most out of an account

After registering as a Bank On Connecticut Member, you will have access to the monthly>Basic Banking class schedule.
